He has served on an advisory council of industry manufacturers and chaired the NKBA certification task force. For nearly a decade, John authored the popular “Representative’s View” column for the Kitchen and Bath Design News. » Presentation of a plaque to Alan Asarnow, CMKBD
"There have been many members of our association through the years that have come and gone. Many have been very dedicated, some more than others. I would like to recognize one individual that has been extremely instrumental in building and maintaining our association at the highest level. This is someone that I would call a mentor to me and all of our chapter officers. If you ever have a question, you know you pick up the phone and call him. His line is always open for us.
On behalf of the Northern New Jersey Chapter, it is my honor to present Alan with this plaque for all the years of dedication that you have given this Chapter.
Like I said earlier, this is one of the Best chapters in the Nation and Alan, you had a lot to do with that."
