1. How do I become a CKD or CBD?

2. When are the chapter meetings?
Meetings are typically held the second Tuesday of every month at different locations throughout our chapter's geographic region. There are no local monthly meetings the same month as the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (K/BIS May 7-10, 2007) as well as July and August.
3. What is a typical chapter meeting like?
At 5:30 PM the Social Hour begins with a cash bar and hors d'oeuvres. Attendees check in at the registration table, and network informally amongst other members, while getting an up-close look at new product with it's representative. At 6:30 PM the speaker has a word to the group and everyone goes into a main meeting room where dinner is served. There is a chapter business meeting followed by the educational program (speaker) just before dessert. Most meetings are typically over before 9 PM.
4. Can I pre-register online?
YES! You may also make your credit card payment online and you're ready to attend! Due to the nature of catering facilities, once pre-registered, all meeting fees are non-refundable.
5. What are CEU's and why do they show up on the meeting notices?
Continuing Education Units are required by NKBA for anyone wishing to maintain their certified status. 1.0 CEU's are required for each society member every two years.
